Biography
Leonor Trindade Sousa, was born in Vagos, Aveiro, Portugal.
Since her adolescence, intuition, taste and curiosity have awakened her to the world of Arts, in particular painting.
Life gave her the opportunity to wake up to what would become her true essence, because as she grew up, she developed the ability to express herself through Art, this being the way she found to express her feelings and to denounce her causes that she holds and takes as her own.
It is through painting and in an eclectic way, inspired by diversified and radically different trends, that she synthesizes and applies what she understands best of each technique with the most diverse materials, as both oil and acrylic transmiting her thoughts and feelings using the most diverse and unusual instruments.
All of her work is the result of an enormous stoicism and struggle. An unusual tribute that communes with the spirit of solidarity, whose purpose is to contribute with her art to an equal and equitable justice and freedom, without forgetting her intrinsic feminist side, in addition to the most notable and sensitive condition, motherhood.
Her technique ranges from the figurative to the abstract without ever failing to convey her message. Passionate stoicism in the profound transparency of a charismatic and irreverent personality that neither refuses nor limits innovation or experimentalism.
